Christmas Needs 2006

Dear Friends,

We again have the opportunity to show Christ’s love in a practical way by making this Christmas season a little brighter for the kids that we serve. We have historically, through your generosity, provided Christmas presents for the youth served by Polk County Youth Services in Des Moines, and most recently Youth Homes of Mid-America in Johnston. I would like for you prayerfully consider how you individually can help or how you can enlist the help of those in your church. Any assistance that you can give will be very much appreciated. We have had a wonderful response! The hoodies & pj bottoms for the shelter has been taken care of, as well as 10 puzzles/games, lip balm, decks of cards, and personal water bottles for the shelter. I am always amazed at how quickly the body of Christ responds to needs like this!
